Pulling the Plug on Brandmee

This is an important lesson that I learnt the hard way. And still in the process of grasping. It's called:

FOCUS.

I'm working on too many projects. Knowing that I have very limited time... It's really, really time to focus.

So I would like to publicly announce that I will not be involved with Brandmee anymore. In the future, maybe, I will come back to it.

And for now. It's time to focus :)

Lebanese Handicap's Invention

I was biking back from a meeting at Karaj Beirut and saw people surrounding this car. I saw a wheel chair. And it took me a couple of seconds to realize that. A man with disabilities was demonstrating his invention that makes it easier for him to use his car!

I asked many questions to understand the invention. It's a pulley system that pulls him into the car. And pulls the wheel chair onto the roof!

A lady that I spoke to is called Doha Yahoufi. She is from an organization called ESIP ( economic and social inclusion project ). If you want to know more and even meet Fadi, the man in the picture, you can contact her. Her contact information are in the business card I attached.

Lebanon Better Project 2 Days After

Img_1000001145
The wall is full. It took only two days and all quote spaces are full. Not only that but there are quotes that have been written by more than one person! Someone started with a couple of words and other people completed the sentence!

Check out all the quotes here in the gallery. You can also read the rest at www.lebanonbetter.tumblr.com .

Personally, I found something very beautiful about this project. Its not only the amazing quotes that have been written, but the way people view this wall. I just observed the wall for five minutes and almost every person that passed by, stopped to read, and smiled. That made me very happy because it was beautiful.

I think it’s beautiful because those people who posted their thought on the wall made complete strangers, whom they will never meet, stop in their tracks, stop their journey and smile. And for those couple of seconds, that complete strangers is not thinking about his long day, or her job or even the work he has to do. But rather, the complete stranger is smiling.
